12 TEAMS IN THE NJ/PA DISTRICT OF THE NORTHEAST REGION KICK OFF THE 2013-14 SEASON TOUR AT PARKWAY LANES IN ELMWOOD PARK NEW JERSEY(HOME OF THE JERSEY DEVILS). MATCHUPS FOR THIS EVENT ARE AS FOLLOWS:

- SOUTH JERSEY STORM vs SHOWTIME

- DA TAKEOVER vs TOTAL MAYHEM

- DUCK IT vs STRIKE CITY

- SHOOTERS vs LEGACY

- GOOD BROTHERS vs JERSEY DEVILS

- DEAD FLUSH vs SYNDICATE

Format:

Each team puts in 9 Bowlers which the team President or a designated team officer divides into three 3 man teams. One of these 3 man teams will bowl scratch while the other 2 teams will have the option of purchasing handicap (80% of 250) for $5. Entry fee per team will be $270 + the purchasing of any hdcp ($5each). For bowlers purchasing handicap, their handicap total will be included into the season match & added to their score. Also the $5 purchase will automatically put the bowler into a special handicap pot (or bracket). The UBA Max score will be 300. If 2 or more UBA bowlers bowl 300 or over with handicap they split the handicap pot.

Each bowler must have on his or her UBA team Jersey or they will not be allowed to bowl

Each Three man team will receive 2 points for each game won and 4 points for total wood. This makes the maximum allowable points on each pair 10. Ten Bonus points will be awarded to the team with the most total pins making the Maximum allowable Points per match 40. If there is a tie then the points will be divided equally

Game Tie = 1 per team

Wood Tie (per pair) = 2 points given to each team

Total Wood Tie = 5 points per team

Sign in time for all UBA matches begin at 12 noon. All UBA matches will begin promptly at 1:00 pm unless there are unforeseen problems with the bowling center or if the two teams have agreed upon an alternate starting time. Late bowlers cannot enter the match if the 1st ball of the first frame is already thrown. The team is still responsible for covering the $30.00 fee if their bowler never shows up for the match.
