DESCRIPTION:This event is a continuation of the New York State Olympic
 s Games that started in 1969.  Over the years, the games moved around
  the state with events being held in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Alb
 any, West Point, Rye, New York City and Long Island.  This is the one
  event that has continued to survive!!!\nThese games have always featu
 red friendly yet spirited competition, and we're happy to invite activ
 e and retired participation of Firefighters and Military as well as Po
 lice Officers.  The personal relationship that can develop between th
 e competitor in the Police, Fire and Military Bowling Games will make 
 it easier for emergency response professionals, no matter what title t
 hey may have, to function as a team to better serve th pubic.  It's a
