SEASON BRAWLS ARE OPEN TO ALL OFFICIAL UBA FRANCHISES

Entry fee: $540 per team ($60 deposit required...balances due at check-in)

DEADLINE TO PREPAY, REQUEST REFUND, & LINEUP SUBMISSION WILL BE THE THURSDAY BEFORE THE DATE OF THE EVENT.

Walk-ins will only be accepted if the entry count becomes an even number.

CHECK IN TIME BEGINS 1 HOUR BEFORE THE SCHEDULED START TIME

Rules & format:

Franchises must submit 9 members (3 scratch, 6 handicap).

Pair 1 - Scratch
Pair 2 - Handicap 1
Pair 3 - Handicap 2

THERE ARE NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED ONCE THE EVENT BEGINS

ALL BRAWL EVENTS WILL HAVE A 3 GAME OPENING ROUND. THERE WILL BE 2 DIFFERENT OPENING ROUND FORMATS BASED ON ENTRY COUNT.

Opening Round FOR BRAWLS WITH EXACTLY 8 OR 16 TEAMS ONLY:

Teams will be randomly seeded 1-8 or 1-16 and compete in a bracket match play competition using the following 40 point system to win matches:

Per pair
Each game win= 2pts

Each series win= 4pts

(Total 10 pts per pair = 30pts)

Bonus highest 3 pair pin fall - 10pts
Total= 40 points  

Winners will advance to the next round. In case of a 20-20 tie, the team that wins 2 out of 3 pairs will advance.

LOSING TEAMS MUST PAY THE FULL LINEAGE COST OF THEIR MATCH!!!

Opening Round FOR BRAWLS WITH 7 or 9-15 TEAMS REGISTERED

All teams will bowl a 3 game qualifying round. The following chart determines the advancing teams:

13-15 teams: TOP 8 TEAMS ADVANCE & ARE SEEDED 1-8 BASED ON TOTAL PINFALL

9-12 or 7 teams: TOP 4 TEAMS ADVANCE & ARE SEEDED 1-4 BASED ON TOTAL PINFALL

Ties for the higher seed will be determined by highest hdcp team game

Ties for the final seed spot will be an 8th, 9th, & 10th frame roll-off for all 3 pairs. 2 pair wins will break the tie

IN THIS CASE, ALL TEAMS NOT ADVANCING MUST SPLIT THE LINEAGE COST OF THE ENTIRE QUALIFYING ROUND

MATCH PLAY ELIMINATION ROUNDS (after opening rd):

Match play begins based on opening round advancers (1-4 or 1-8). 1 game per pair will be bowled. Team that wins 2 out of 3 pairs continues to advance until a winner is crowned. Ties on any pair will be broken by an 8th, 9th & 10th frame roll-off. IN MATCH PLAY, THE LOSING TEAM MUST PAY THE FULL LINEAGE COST OF THEIR MATCH
